EVENT NEWS: Project Management Community Launch CityIQ is well known throughout the City for its informative briefings on aspects of the project management process. Indeed, in the last few years over 150 from 50 companies have attended our various events and we now have a hard core of regular attendees. Our feedback shows that while the events are highly regarded many of the attendees are looking for an opportunity not only to participate actively in the matters under discussion but also to get a better understanding of the challenges they share with project professionals in similar organisations. To help them meet these two objectives CityIQ is launching The Projects Community, a forum for senior project professionals in the City to network with their peer group. SURVEY NEWS: CityIQ / SWIFT Corporate Actions Survey 2008
In 2003 CityIQ, in conjunction with SWIFT, carried out the first comprehensive survey of the market for corporate actions automation. Five years on, we have decided to repeat the exercise to see how the landscape has changed. And once again we are pleased to announce that SWIFT has agreed to act as our sponsor. SURVEY RESULTS :
We presented the results of our recent survey on investment management outsourcing, sponsored by Northern Trust, to an invited audience on the afternoon of Wednesday 11th June in London. The event centered on the findings from the survey and was supported by a panel debate entitled "Outsourcing - What happens next?", with a panel of industry experts including representatives from Northern Trust, Brown Brothers Harriman and SimCorp discussing the findings of the report and answering questions from the audience. NEWS: Custody IT Association The initial meeting of the Custody IT Association, organized and facilitated by CityIQ is scheduled to take place at HSBC’s offices in Canary Wharf shortly. The Association, which will meet on a quarterly basis will act as a discussion forum for the leading organisations in the Custody market. The results have now been distributed with a wide range of personalities revealed ranging from the Eternal Optimist to the Extreme Pessimist!
